ProKit4 for Seestar S50 PRO brings together our main accessories for the new telescope in one complete kit, designed to improve focusing accuracy, optical protection, dew and stray-light control, and filter versatility.
Not compatible with the standard Seestar S50.
The kit combines a Magnetic Bahtinov Mask, LensGûard magnetic lens cover and the DeWiew Protect & Filter System, featuring two interchangeable dew/light shields, a removable 2" filter holder and dedicated Safe Power Off components.

Magnetic Bahtinov Focus Mask
Check and fine-tune focus visually using the characteristic Bahtinov diffraction pattern for sharper stars and more precise astrophotography.

LensGûard Magnetic Lens Cover
Protect the front optics of your Seestar S50 PRO between sessions, helping keep both the primary objective and Wide Camera clean and protected.

- Microfiber inner lining: gently protects the front surfaces and helps reduce dust and fine-particle buildup.

DeWiew Protect & Filter System
The new DeWiew Protect & Filter System for Seestar S50 PRO uses a magnetic base with two interchangeable shields and a removable filter holder, allowing the telescope setup to be adapted to different observing and imaging configurations.
Deep Sky Shield
A collapsible conical dew/light shield designed for the primary objective.
- Helps reduce dew formation.
- Limits peripheral and ambient stray light.
- Designed primarily for Deep Sky observations.
- Collapsible design for compact handling and storage.
Dual Wide Shield
Designed to shield both the primary objective and Wide Camera while keeping both optical systems available.
- Suitable for Milky Way Mode.
- Suitable for Dual Mode.
- Helps reduce unwanted side light reaching both cameras.
- Installs quickly on the same magnetic DeWiew base.
The Deep Sky Shield may partially obstruct the Wide Camera field of view. When both optical systems need to be used simultaneously, use the Dual Wide Shield.
Removable 2" Filter Holder
The removable filter holder is designed to accommodate 2" optical filters (M48 x 0.75) and can be positioned according to the selected configuration.
- Two filter positions: in front of either the primary objective or the Wide Camera.
- Removable design: use the DeWiew system with or without a filter as required.
- Full primary aperture when removed: with the filter holder removed, the DeWiew system does not reduce the clear aperture of the primary objective.
- When a 2" filter is installed, the usable aperture is naturally limited by the filter's clear opening.
Because of the Wide Camera's very wide field of view, not all filters behave uniformly when mounted in front of it.
Prefer filters whose response is minimally affected by the angle of incidence, such as:
- absorption filters, including neodymium / didymium
- clear filters
- diffusion filters
Selective interference filters such as narrowband, dual-band, tri-band, UHC or CLS are not suitable for this type of front-mounted ultra-wide-angle configuration and may produce non-uniform results across the field.
Optimization for fast optical systems (for example f/2) does not by itself guarantee compatibility with this configuration.
Before choosing a filter for use in front of the Wide Camera, we recommend checking its technical specifications to ensure that it is suitable for the characteristics and wide field of view of the Seestar S50 PRO Wide Camera.
Safe Power Off System
The DeWiew system includes dedicated Safe Power Off components designed to support safe automatic telescope shutdown and reduce the risk of accessories becoming detached or falling during automatic telescope movements.
