ProKit 4 for DWARF Mini Telescope: Bahtinov Mask, LensGuard, Dewiew Dew Shield, 2" Filter Holder

Upgrade your DWARF Mini with the Astrofaber ProKit4, a complete accessory kit designed to improve focusing, optical protection, dew control, stray-light reduction, filter use and safer handling during astrophotography sessions.

The kit includes a Precision Bahtinov Mask, LensGuard protective cover, and the DeWiew Protect & Filter system with a 2" M48 x 0.75 filter holder, collapsible conical dew shield, integrated Wide Camera hood, Riser Stand and Safe Power Off System components.

What’s included:

• 1x Precision Bahtinov Mask: helps check and fine-tune focus for sharper stars and cleaner astronomical images.
• 1x LensGuard protective cover: protects the primary lens and Wide Angle Camera from dust and scratches when the telescope is not in use.
• 1x DeWiew Protect & Filter system: helps reduce dew formation and stray light while allowing the use of standard 2" optical filters.
• 1x Riser Stand: raises the DWARF Mini during operation and helps support correct initial calibration when additional clearance is needed.
• Safe Power Off System components: help reduce the risk of accessory detachment and falling during automatic homing and shutdown movements.

The collapsible conical dew shield is intended for Deep Sky Mode, where imaging is performed through the primary lens. Its 10° conical geometry helps reduce condensation and block peripheral ambient light for cleaner deep-sky captures.

For Milky Way Mode, use only the small hood integrated into the filter holder. This hood shields the Wide Angle Camera from unwanted side light, helping reduce side light during wide-field captures.

The DeWiew system is designed not to reduce the aperture of the DWARF Mini primary lens, helping avoid vignetting or loss of brightness.

The included Safe Power Off System is designed to support safer automatic shutdown by helping keep the accessories secured during homing movements. As with any external accessory, correct installation should always be checked before each session.

Important note: the DWARF Mini telescope and optical filters are not included.
